Ben Miller is a proud graduate of Washington State University (GO COUGS!!), where he earned a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Risk Management and Insurance. Immediately after graduating, Ben launched into the insurance industry—building a career that now spans 26 years. His extensive background includes reinsurance, claims, and serving as a scratch captive agent, all of which laid the foundation for the successful creation of The Miller Insurance Agency.
In addition to running his agency, Ben has been deeply involved in advancing the insurance profession at the national level. He has served on the National Board of Advisors for the WSU Insurance Department, holding leadership roles including Vice President and President.
Outside the office, Ben is an avid golfer who also enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, bicycling, photography, fly fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family and dogs. And as a passionate COUG, he’s always excited to reconnect with the WSU community and contribute wherever he can.
